Biography

Antoine Pilgrim is not only a DJ but a universe in its own, an invitation to musical journeys through discoveries marked with emotion. The sonority of his music is a subtle mix between Deep, House and Techno. This openness and this taste to take his audience on a journey have been initiated by various musical universes that have influenced him over the years. Stringed along with childhood by the sound of Motown and training as a pianist, he discovered the House and the Garage during a trip to New York in 1996. This musical encounter takes him to the world of electronic music. In 1998, Anthony Pilgrim discovers for the first time, Laurent Garnier live at Olympia. This concert will permanently mark his universe; it will become his source of his openness, his energy and his desire to offer a unique journey. This journey is enriched by the influence of artists such as Jerome Sydenham, Henrik Schwarz, Laurent Garnier, Francois K or Joe Claussell, who each of them make an impact in the ’s musical evolution with their rich and various productions.

After a first experience in 2006 with KFK at a Parisian bar, Antoine Pilgrim was invited to play in various events. These invitations have led to mix alongside DJs such as Mark Broom, Fabrice Lig, Tom Hades, Justin Berkovi, Markus Lange, K-Milla or Tomaz. These experiences and recognition refine his already so special world. These different bookings also took him to a monthly residency on Radio Sensations (FR) in the broadcast Play It Back.

With these experiences and this particular approach of the sound, Anthony Pilgrim wishes, through his music, open minds to the musical diversity, the authenticity of the music and share emotions with his audience.
