For this new release on , Felix Cage drops 2 original gems with remixes provided by the Italian artist Luciano Esse and the German artist Pazul.

Voyage to Saturn opens the EP. Dynamic and hypnotic, imbued with melody it takes the audience right to the destination in the title. Orient Express is a heavier track with a subtle oriental touch and a vocal calling for a hope of better times. The atmosphere is preserved in the remixes. Although starting with a more powerful kick, Luciano Esse kept the idea of Voyage To Saturn by supplementing its own universe, darker and more dancefloor. For its part, The German producer Pazul developed a deeper sight, almost in a dub way, of Voyage to Saturn, where he engaged progressively in a seven-minute intimacy.

Felix Cage feat. Lazarusman – Love Again Remixes EP – Electronical Reeds

ER014 - Felix Cage feat. Lazarusman - Love Again Remixes EP and Lazarusman are back on for a special Remixes EP of their track Love Again. Five artists offer their personal vision of this collaboration between the slammer and poet Lazarusman and the producer Felix Cage. Away from their first attempt, here is probably the EP of the “coup de grace” of the dancefloors!

After Rodriguez Jr. remix in June 2011, another member of the Mobilee team, Marcin Czubala, takes the lead of a Felix Cage’s title. The Polish DJ and producer approaches the track with the typical touch from Berlin fusing high efficiency, deep soul and melodic richness. As for the Parisian duo , they steer away from the Deep House of the opening track to energetic Techno with a real percussive rhythm. A dark and heavy atmosphere perfectly merges with jazzy sounds. From darkness to light, are resolutely and passionately in love with the dancefloor. The co-founder and manager of Voltage Records, the Berliner Marquez Ill is the conductor of this third remix and offers a more Tech House approach of the track. The vocal cut and sampled guides the dancefloor until the break leaving Lazarusman’s voice for crowd’s pleasure.

After three remixes resolutely turned towards efficiency and dancefloor, a change of rhythm occurs in the EP. Indeed, the Lille-based artist Max Duke offers an acoustic version with a captivating rhythm and guitar riffs that are reminiscent of a famous American band from Los Angeles. This acoustic approach continues with the remix of the artist from Brussels, Souldust. He produces an instrumental remix leaving a prominent place to the melody supported by a powerful kick. He takes the listeners to a wonderful journey oscillating between power and melancholy. Read more

Felix Cage – Love Again EP – Electronical Reeds

Felix Cage - Love Again EP - Electronical ReedsFollowing the success of Mascarade EP this summer, remixed by Rodriguez Jr. and Nhar, with top 100 charts and playlists from artists like Sebastien Leger, Laurent Garnier and Stephan Bodzin, is back on the Franco-Belgian label with a new three tracks EP including a collaboration with The Lazarusman, who’s voice marked the releases of Stimming, Aki Bergen and Till Von Sein among others. From winter chill of Blizzard to summer dancefloor Mascarade, Felix Cage and were bound to bring more vibes this rainy autumn.

The title track of the EP offers an encounter between two very personal and emotionally rich universes where the pads and melodies of Felix Cage are amplified by the atypical voice of The Lazarusman. With its powerful kick and its deep bass, its melancholy synths and its break that opens the way for the slaming lyrics of the South African artist filled with emotions, the title slowly invades the senses to gradually release the energy they contain.

The tension of the EP soars with “You Don’t Know Me”. Thrown at the crowd in a set, like a blame in an argument, the track surprises with its powerful bassline. This power is counterbalanced by the melodies evoking atmosphere of doubt and mystery. Six intense minutes of journey into the world of Deep Melodic Techno. The EP ends with the emotionally rich and intense track “Closer”. It tells a story of a relationship through a few notes of piano, captivating atmosphere of synths and the vibration of bass.
